General commands of the worksheet

These commands are available when you right-click in any spreadsheet cell.

They can also be located in the Spreadsheet tab, on Spreadsheet group, in the program main window. The user has the following tools:

Setting	Description
Fill current column with the value at cursor location	Click this button to assign the value at the current cursor location to the entire column in the worksheet. Note that only the currently selected elements are displayed on the screen.
Select the elements that have the same data as the cursor location	Selects all elements (nodes, members, etc) which have the same data as the marked block. This command will only consider the elements currently in the worksheet and will deselect those that do not match the criteria.
Add to the selection	Selects elements with the same data as to the marked block. This command will select and add elements to the worksheet if they are not currently selected.
Sort as selected	Sort the elements (nodes, members or shells) in the order in which they were selected. This command is only for ordering in the worksheet and has no affect on member numbers or internal order of data storage.
Sort by index	Sort the elements (nodes, members or shells) based on their index (number automatically assigned when the element is created). This is the default behavior of the worksheet.
Reassign numbers to selected elements	RAM Elements does not reassign numbers automatically after the deletion of some elements. The numbers are normally preserved to facilitate the elements reference. However, the present tool allows to reorder the number of the elements of the current worksheet. The initial value will be asked and the selected elements will be renumbered. If there are already other elements with the desired numbers, the program will assign the closest free number.
Clear all data from current worksheet	This command clears all data from the current worksheet. It does not delete the selected elements, it only clears the information in the current worksheet.
Help on the active worksheet (F1)	This command displays context sensitive help on the active worksheet.

Mathematical operations applicable to a marked block:

	Multiply marked block by a value.
	Divide marked block by a value.
	Add a value to the marked block
	Subtract a value from the marked block.
	Fill marked block with a value
	Change sign of data inside marked block

And:

Setting	Description
Clear marked block	This command clears a marked block. If the value is numerical, it assigns zero to the variable.
Copy row at cursor location	Click this button to copy the current row of the cursor to the entire worksheet of data.
Copy (Ctrl + C)	Click this command to copy the values of the marked block to be used in another part of the worksheet, in another worksheet or to be exported to another program like Excel, Word, etc.
Cut (Ctrl + X)	Click this command to move a block of the worksheet to another location, including other programs like Excel, Word, etc.
Paste (Ctrl + V)	Click this command to paste previously copied data to the cursor location. This allows to import data generated in other programs like Excel.
