The Orient Reinforcement tool

This tool allows you to draw a line segment that represents the desired orientation of selected reinforcement objects’ individual bars.

After you draw this line, RAM Concept rotates any selected concentrated reinforcement objects, and orients any distributed reinforcement parallel to the drawn line. The selected reinforcement creates individual bars of the same orientation after calculation.

Select the reinforcement object.
Choose the Orient Reinforcement tool ().
Click anywhere on the plan.
Click at a location on the plan to create a line parallel to the desired direction of the reinforcement.

Note: Use snap orthogonal or snap to perpendicular to help with orientation where appropriate

Note: Selecting both reinforcement objects created with the Concentrated Rebar Cross tool or the Distributed Rebar Cross in Perimeter tool orientates both reinforcement objects.
