RAM Concept does not replace the code. It implements
some, but not all, of the code. Using the program does not absolve you of
knowing your building code.
You should review the appropriate code chapter:
These chapters discuss the following code specific issues:
- default loadings
- default load combinations
- live load reduction
- assumptions on material
behavior
- rule selection
- rule implementation
In particular, you should review what rules are used and how
the authors interpret and implement the rules.
Rules not
