You can draw slab elements one or more at a time. Usually you would attempt to draw as many as practical in one operation using the Rect Slab Mesh Elements tool () or the Poly Slab Mesh Elements tool (). This would often mean drawing slab panels (with columns in the corners) in one operation.

Note: The Rect Slab Mesh Elements tool () and Poly Slab Mesh Elements tool () share the same button on the Element layer toolbar.
