This error is typically reported at steps in the slabs.

The inter cross section slope limit is trimming the entire cross section away at the step. See "Inter Cross Section Slope Limit Trimming" for more information.

You can avoid the problem by setting the inter cross section slope limit to a large value in spans containing large steps. You should, however, consider the underlying reason for the error.
