The calculation of number of tendon ducts for Code bar spacing rules uses the following:

• an integral number of ducts is calculated from the area of prestressing steel and the specified A_ps / duct
• the number is then modified by the vector component of the tendon

This is true regardless of the angle of the tendon to the cross section, so long as the tendon is considered in the cross section (see Section 51.1.8).
