To stretch an object by one of its grips

Choose the Utility tool (
).

Select an object or group of objects.

Snap to a grip point and position the cursor in the bottom half of the snap area until you see the stretch cursor (
) then click.

Click on the point to where you want the object, or group of objects, to stretch.
