Untensioned reinforcement is modeled as a perfectly elastic/plastic material, as is shown in code figure 2.2. The elastic modulus is that specified by the user in the materials window instead of the code-specified 200,000 N/mm².

For strength considerations, a γ _m of 1.05 is used (Amendment 1 and 2).

For strength considerations, a γ _m of 1.15 is used (Amendment 3).

For all other considerations (including accident strength) a γ _m of 1.0 is used.
