Question: How can I view the slab without the mesh?

Answer: Choose Layers > Element > Slab Summary Plan.

Question: What is the difference between beam and slab elements?

Answer: There is no difference unless you modify their behavior. See discussion of behavior in Slab area properties and Beam properties .

Question: How many nodes or elements are allowed?

Answer: There is no limit, other than the limitations of your computer.

Question: How many elements should I use per span or panel?

Answer: This cannot be answered directly as it depends upon the structure and loads. See Deciding what mesh element size to use .
