Constraints
Constraints is another function available with parametric feature-based design. Using the Constrain Feature tool, you can fix features relative to each other, so that they remain correctly located even if the underlying solid or feature is modified. For example, you can assign constraints to ensure that the centers of holes always are located at twice their radius from the edges of a solid.
If the holes are unconstrained, they will remain in their current location even if the base slab feature of the model is modified. When the holes are constrained to be a particular distance from the edges, however, they will be relocated to honour the constraints.
