Each document has an icon that indicates which application
is associated with it, based on the extension of the file that is attached to
the document.
Some documents will also
have a smaller icon, either in the upper left or lower right corner (or both)
of the document icon, which indicates additional information about the
document, such as whether the document is a master document, or is a non-active
version.
