To Deploy ProjectWise WSG
- Go to the Start page and type Deploy ProjectWise WSG.

When the Deployment Wizard opens, select Deploy
ProjectWise WSG, and then click Next.
The wizard advances to the Select a Website page.

Select the IIS website you want to deploy
ProjectWise WSG
to, and then click
Next. For example,
The wizard advances to the Choose the name for the application page.

Edit or enter the name of the directory you want to create for
ProjectWise WSG
(default is “ws”) under the selected IIS website, and then click
Next. For example,
The wizard advances to the Configure URL redirection page.

If URL redirection is needed, select Use URL redirection,
and then click Next.
Note: URL Rewrite must be installed in order to enable Use URL redirection. You can download URL Rewrite from here: https://www.iis.net/downloads/microsoft/url-rewrite .The wizard advances to the Working Directory and CORS page.

On the
Working Directory and CORS page:

In the first field, accept the default working directory
(C:\ProgramData\Bentley\ProjectWiseWSG\WorkDir\1) or
click Browse to navigate to and select a different
folder.
The working directory is used by ProjectWise WSG to store files that are being transferred between the main ProjectWise server and the application making the request.
Note:- Make sure the folder you specify is not already being used by any other deployment.
- The working directory must be located on the ProjectWise WSG computer.
- The working directory cannot be located under the website's home directory (for example, it cannot be here: C:\inetpub\wwwroot)
- Make sure the local system account has “Write” permission to the specified folder.
- UNC paths (\\servername\sharename) are not supported.

In the second field, keep the suggested default value “*”, or enter the
URLs of your known web client domains (separated by a comma) that needs to
communicate with (make cross-origin (CORS) requests to) this particular
ProjectWise WSG
deployment.
If you plan to use multiple domains with this deployment, then enter them together, comma-separated, for example:
https://connectprojectwisewac. bentley.com,https://connect-pdfmarkup.bentley.com - Click Next.
The deployment wizard advances to the Advanced settings page. -
In the first field, accept the default working directory
(C:\ProgramData\Bentley\ProjectWiseWSG\WorkDir\1) or
click Browse to navigate to and select a different
folder.

Configure the settings on the Advanced settings page and
click Deploy.
Note: By default, the Allow native authentication type option is set to “False”. Set this option to “True” if you want to allow login via the service account. -
When deployment is complete, click
Finish.
