Adding New InDesign Books and Documents to ProjectWise

Create and Store an InDesign Book in ProjectWise

  1. In InDesign, select ProjectWise > New > Book.
  2. If prompted, log in to your datasource. (See Opening an Integrated Application and Logging In.)
  3. If the Select a Wizard dialog opens, select No Wizard and click OK.

    ProjectWise's Save Document As dialog opens.

  4. Select the location in ProjectWise to store the book, give the book a name, and click Save.

Create and Store an InDesign Document in ProjectWise

  1. In InDesign, select New > Document.

    InDesign's New Document dialog opens.

  2. Accept or change the document setup options (preset details) as needed.
  3. Click the Create button.
  4. If prompted, log in to your datasource. (See Opening an Integrated Application and Logging In.)
  5. If the Select a Wizard dialog opens, select No Wizard and click OK.

    ProjectWise's Save Document As dialog opens.

  6. Select the location in ProjectWise to store the document, give the document a name, and click Save.
