Used to select the project or folder containing the document to open. |

Click this button to go up one folder from the selected folder. |
| List icon |
Displays documents with small icons, vertically, in the Document list. |
| Details icon |
Displays documents vertically, with column details, in the document list. The columns that appear depend on the view selected in the View toolbar in ProjectWise Explorer. If no view is defined, default columns display. |
| Thumbnail View icon |
When on, a thumbnail image of the selected document displays to the right of the document list. If no thumbnail image exists, the default document icon displays. |
| Search toolbar |
Using the Search toolbar, you can either type the text you want to search by in the Quick Search field and click Start Search, or you can click the Advanced Search button (the binoculars icon) to launch the Define Search dialog. Results of the searches run from this dialog are displayed in the dialog's Document list, from which you can select the document you want to open. |
| Document list |
Displays documents in the selected folder, or from the results of a search. You can also right-click inside the document list and select items on the View menu to change the way documents are displayed in the document list. The options here are a subset of those on the View menu in ProjectWise Explorer. |
| Address |
Displays the full path to and including the document selected in the Document list. The documents most recently opened in the integrated application are also available for selection from this list. |
| Description |
Displays the description, if available, of the document selected in the Document list. |
| File Name |
Displays the file name of the document selected in the Document list. |
| Application |
Displays the ProjectWise application associated to the document selected in the Document list. This option can also be used to filter the list of documents to only display documents associated to a particular application. |
| Open document as read-only |
If on, the document selected will be opened as read-only in the integrated application. |
| Open |
Opens the selected ProjectWise document. |
| Open from Disk |
Closes the ProjectWise dialog and opens the integrated application's regular File > Open dialog, allowing you to open a file not stored in ProjectWise. This button only appears in integrated, non-Bentley applications such as Microsoft Office and AutoCAD. |
| Cancel |
For integrated, non-Bentley applications such as such as Microsoft Office and AutoCAD, clicking Cancel closes the dialog without opening a document. For integrated Bentley applications, clicking Cancel closes the ProjectWise dialog and opens the application's regular File > Open dialog, allowing you to open a file not stored in ProjectWise. |
