| Folder |
Displays the name of the project or folder the currently open document is located in. By default the new document will be created in this folder. Click the Change button if you want to change the location to which to save the new document. |
| Name |
Sets the document name for the new document. This field is blank when the dialog first opens, but becomes populated when you select a seed file, whether the seed file is from an existing ProjectWise document or from an external file. You can change the name as necessary. The document name must be unique to the project or folder the document is being created in. |
| Description |
Sets the description for the new document. This field is blank when the dialog first opens, but becomes populated when you select a seed file, whether the seed file is from an existing ProjectWise document or from an external file. You can change the description as necessary. |
| File Name |
Sets the file name for the new document. This field is blank when the dialog first opens, but becomes populated when you select a seed file, whether the seed file is from an existing ProjectWise document or from an external file. You can change the name as necessary. The file name must be unique to the project or folder the document is being created in. |
| Application |
Sets the ProjectWise application to associate to the new document. This field is set to < Default > when the dialog first opens, but becomes populated with the appropriate application when you select a seed file, whether the seed file is from an existing ProjectWise document or from an external file. You can change the application as necessary. |
| Department |
Sets the ProjectWise department to associate to the selected document. This field is set to < Default > when the dialog first opens, but you can change it as necessary. If the seed file you use is a ProjectWise document that already has a department associated to it, that department is automatically associated to the new document. |
| Source File |
Displays the location of the seed file being used to create the new document. |
| OK |
Creates the new document in the specified project or folder in ProjectWise, closes the dialog, and opens the newly created document. |
| Cancel |
Closes the New dialog and opens the integrated application's regular File > New dialog, allowing you to create the file outside of ProjectWise. |
| Apply |
Creates the new document in the specified project or folder, and the dialog remains open so you can create more documents. |
