The Import Wizard can import export files from earlier versions of ProjectWise. To ensure that text is correctly imported, make sure that the default code page (character set/locale) on the import computer matches the default code page on the export computer.

When exporting projects with project types from a SQL Server datasource and then importing them to an Oracle datasource, if the name of a pick list in the exported project type is also a reserved Oracle keyword, then the project type and its data will not be imported. The associated projects will still be imported though.
