After you insert a ProjectWise property into your document, the value of that property in the document can either be updated manually after you open the document, or automatically whenever the document is opened, checked out, copied out, or exported. Whether or not the property values get updated automatically is determined by your administrator.

The steps for manually updating linked properties in the document are the same as the steps for initializing the document to be able to insert those same properties. That is, in the current document, select the ProjectWise tab and then click Update Document.
