Quick Searches

Quick Search is a search field available on the Search toolbar that lets you search for documents, folders, and work areas, simply by typing the text you want to search by and clicking Start search. Quick searches are not case sensitive, and the Quick Search field stores the most recently used searches for quick access.

By default, quick searches are set to search in the currently selected folder or work area and its subfolders, however you can change the default to search the entire datasource (regardless of the folder you have selected), or you can right-click in the Search toolbar and select an option (Search in Datasource, Search in Current Folder, or Search in Environment) if you need to temporarily override the default search location.
