Opening PDFs from RFIs and general correspondences

You can now open PDFs from any sent or received RFI or general correspondence. When you click a PDF in an RFI or general correspondence, PDF Markup Service opens the PDF in read-only mode.

If you need to download the PDF, you can download it from the PDF Markup Service .

Adding attachments to issues when reviewing PDFs

You can now add attachments to an issue, while creating an issue in a PDF received in a submittal. All files attached to the issue together with the issue information will be sent to the transmittal author when the submittal recipient sends their response.

The transmittal author can also add attachments to an issue, if there is a need to clarify something when fixing an issue. The attachments will be sent to submittal recipient together with the new document version.

'Submittal Issue' forms are now included when copying settings from one project to another

When copying Deliverables Management settings from one project to another, all 'Submittal Issue' forms in the source project will now also be copied to the target project.

New 'partial response' notifications for transmittals

Transmittal creators and issuers can now choose to receive a notification when they receive a partial response (a response for some but not all documents) to a transmittal.

Whether or not the transmittal creator and issuer receives a notification about a partial response is managed through the Notification Preferences section of each user's profile.

To enable partial response notifications:

1. Click your initials in the upper right corner of the ProjectWise Deliverables Management portal.
2. Select View Profile.
3. Scroll down to Notification Preferences and click to expand the ProjectWise Deliverables Management section.

   By default, the sending of notifications about partial responses is turned off for each transmittal you have created or issued.

4. Click the check box to the right of each transmittal if you want to receive notifications about partial responses to that transmittal.

Generating an Excel report that contains items issued during a specified time frame

When generating an Excel report about all items listed on either the Incoming or Outgoing tab (that is, when no items are selected and you select Export to Excel), you are now prompted to specify the time frame to include information from. Once you specify a time frame and click Export, a report for all items in the list that were issued during the specified time frame will be generated and exported.

'Manage Settings' role permission required for enabling ProjectWise Deliverables Management in a project

If a team member of a ProjectWise project wants to turn on ProjectWise Deliverables Management in their project, that team member now must have a role assigned that has the Managed Settings permission enabled for the ProjectWise Deliverables Management service.

Performance enhancements

The document upload speed has been improved in the ProjectWise Deliverables Management connector for ProjectWise Explorer . This will result in a faster document upload and package issuing process in cases when multiple smaller files are being issued via the service.

New Deliverables Management import option

It is now possible to import documents into the Deliverables Management storage folder that has an environment assigned that has required attributes and also has the Create attribute records upon document creation setting turned on (this setting is turned on in the environment properties in ProjectWise Administrator ).
