Hiding the Option to Create Specific Package Type Drafts in Deliverables Management Portal
If you are using multiple products for your communication workflows, you can choose which package types should be visible for your users to use in Deliverables Management Portal. When the package creation option is disabled, the specific package type will not be available for selection from the Portal New button.
Marking General Correspondence as Confidential
The General Correspondence author may now mark the correspondence as “confidential”. This ensures that only the general correspondence recipients will be able to open it. Other team members will only see a record of it (Name and ID) in their list of incoming general correspondence and will not be able to open it.The administrator, and the correspondence author and issuer will always be able to open it.
You can designate a general correspondence as confidential by enabling the Confidential data included setting located on the General or Recipients tab of a correspondence draft, from either ProjectWise Explorer or the portal.
General correspondences that are marked as confidential are denoted by a shield on the package icon.
In a related change, the administrator can now enable the “confidential” setting as needed, in each general correspondence package type in portal settings. With this setting enabled, creating a new draft of a confidential correspondence type automatically marks that correspondence as confidential.
Forward General Correspondence
You can now forward an incoming general correspondence for additional feedback. When you forward a general correspondence, a new correspondence draft is created using the original general correspondence as a template. When the correspondence is forwarded, a new communication thread is created.
If there is a need to continue conversation on a forwarded general correspondence, the typical Reply to the message option should be used from within the outgoing general correspondence.
Responses that you receive regarding a forwarded general correspondence can be copied and incorporated into your response to the original correspondence. You can choose to copy one or more responses from the forwarded correspondence thread.
New Package List View and Filtering Options

All filtering, sorting, and search values are preserved when navigating to and from packages, until your browser window is closed.
ProjectWise Web Connections Service ? Send to Deliverables
You can now streamline your deliverables creation with the new “Send to Deliverables” feature, in the ProjectWise Web connections service, or Documents area in your project. Simply select the documents that you want to add to a transmittal draft, and then select Send to Deliverables from the context menu.
And save even more time by using Global or Personal saved searches to gather documents that need to be send through ProjectWise Deliverables Management .
Selecting Send to Deliverables displays the Transmittal Draft window, where you can complete the necessary information, and then save as a draft or immediately issue the transmittal.
Performance Enhancements
ProjectWise Deliverables Management connector for ProjectWise Explorer has implemented a new package list caching strategy to improve memory usage when working with multiple projects.
The draft transmittal saving process was also improved, allowing the ProjectWise Deliverables Management connector for ProjectWise Explorer to work more reliably.
New Email Domain Support Limits for Deliverables Management Participants
Existing ProjectWise Deliverables Management participants email domain limits have been modified in ProjectWise Deliverables Management connector for ProjectWise Explorer . Users can now add or invite participants that have email domains with up to 63 characters in each domain and subdomain.
Improved Audit Trail Information Accessibility
All tooltips have been extended to display at least 3,000 characters, in ProjectWise Deliverables Management connector for ProjectWise Explorer . This ensures that all ProjectWise Deliverables Management audit trail entries are easily readable.
