You can forward an RFI you
received to both internal and external participants. When you forward an RFI, a
new RFI draft is created using the original RFI as a template, and which is
linked to the original RFI. When you send your final response to the original
RFI, you have the option to include the responses you received regarding the
forwarded RFI.
-
Go to the
Incoming tab.
-
If needed, acknowledge the RFI. See
GUID-60BD7F02-B06D-425D-B90D-B23335FC0767.dita.
(You cannot forward an RFI until you acknowledge it.)
-
Do one of the following:
- Click the
Respond button next to the RFI in the list
and when the RFI opens, click the
Forward button in the upper right corner of
the page.
- Open the RFI
from the list and then click the
Forward button in the upper right corner of
the page.
- Click the check
box next to the RFI in the list and then click the
Forward option from the menu in the upper
left corner of the
Incoming tab.
A new RFI draft is started, using the original RFI as
a template.
-
Click the
To button to select which internal or external
participant you want to forward this RFI to.
- Optional:
Make changes to the forwarded RFI as needed, the same as you would
when creating a new RFI. See
GUID-5021B437-6A51-4E45-9900-D0310A9FECB2.dita.
-
When finished, issue the RFI. See
GUID-DA086A63-B4E8-454F-8A33-687AED2B208E.dita.
After the selected recipient responds to the forwarded
RFI, you can attach their response to your response, when you respond to the
original RFI.
