To Acknowledge an RFI To Acknowledge an RFI (portal)

The first thing to do when you receive an RFI is to acknowledge it. This notifies the issuer that you have received it.

When you click the Open in Portal link in the notification email you received about this RFI, a browser window opens and you are taken to the ProjectWise Deliverables Management portal of your ProjectWise project where you are prompted to sign in. After signing in, the RFI opens where you can click the Acknowledge button. Use the steps below if you are not following a link from a notification email.

  1. Go to the Incoming tab.

    A list of all incoming submittals and RFIs displays.

  2. Optional: Filter the list to show only RFIs.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • Click the Acknowledge button in the Actions column next to the RFI you want to acknowledge.
    • Click the check box next to one or more RFIs you want to acknowledge and click the Acknowledge selected button.
    • Open an RFI from the list (click the link in the Subject column) and click the Acknowledge button at the top of the RFI.
