Requirements

Operating Systems

You can install ProjectWise Analytics Data Upload Service on any Windows server. It is recommended to be installed on a computer that is always running, such as the ProjectWise Design Integration Server.

Note: ProjectWise Analytics Data Upload Service only needs to be installed once (you do not need to install it on multiple computers).

ProjectWise Analytics Data Upload Service supports the same SQL Server and Oracle versions that are supported by ProjectWise Design Integration Server.

Important: ProjectWise Analytics Data Upload Service collects and stores change baseline information in the same ProjectWise databases that you make connections to. This information is not stored in the ProjectWise tables, but rather is copied in advance from the ProjectWise tables and then cached in separate ProjectWise Analytics Data Upload Service tables. This can cause the database to significantly increase in size (up to twice the original size). Make sure the database server has enough space to accommodate this growth.

ProjectWise Analytics Data Upload Service uses the following ports through which it collects and uploads data:

You can access ProjectWise Project Insights from a Windows desktop or server using either of these supported browsers: Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge
