Exporting and Importing AutoCAD Attribute Class Mappings

If necessary you can export attribute class mappings to an ASCII file format, manually edit them, then import them back into ProjectWise Administrator.

Exporting AutoCAD Attribute Class Mappings

  1. Right-click AutoCAD Title Blocks.
  2. Select Export Mapping.
  3. In the Save As dialog, select an export location and click Save.

Importing AutoCAD Attribute Class Mappings

  1. Right-click Attribute Exchange Rules.
  2. Select Import Mappings.

    The Import Mappings warning window opens. This window states that the import will delete all existing classes, attributes and bindings for mappings that exist in the import file. Are you sure you want to continue?

  3. Click Yes.
  4. In the Open dialog, select the required INI file and click Open.

    The mapping is imported.
