To Create a Workflow
Messaging Agent for Document State Changes

First make sure you have at least one workflow in your datasource.

Next, follow steps 1 to 5 in the procedure,
To Create a Messaging
Agent for Check-ins, Check-outs, Exports, Version Changes, or Server Copy
Updates.

When you get to the
Specify command type and sending time page:

Set
Command type to
Document state change.
This will generate a message whenever a document
is moved to another state in the selected workflow(s).

Select either
Send the message when document leaves the current
state or
Send the message when document comes into the new
state.

Click
Next.

When the
Attaching Workflow State to Workflow Agent
page opens:

Click
Add.

In the
Select Workflow State dialog, select the
required workflow and state (default state is
<All States>), then click
OK.

Attach additional states as needed.

Click
Next.
-
On the
Finishing New Messaging Agent page, click
Finish.
The new message displays in the list.
