To Update the User Name and Password of the Database Account Used to Connect to the Database

The database user account is specified during creation of the datasource, and is used by the ProjectWise Design Integration Server to connect to the database. If the user name and/or password for the database user account ever changes, you need to also change those credentials in ProjectWise Administrator, as described below.

  1. Open the Datasource Properties dialog to the Database Users tab.

    The user name that displays is the one that was specified during creation of the ProjectWise datasource. The password field is masked.



  2. Change the user name and/or password as needed.
  3. Click OK.
