This section provides ProjectWise client applications information about where to direct client network requests when a route is configured. This section does not define the route itself; it merely provides information to the clients as to which computer is the first hop in the route. Note that the computer this file is installed on does not necessarily need to be the gateway; this section can simply provide information to the clients as to which computer the gateway is. This information is sent directly to the ProjectWise client, so it is critical that the Gateway Service hostname be a hostname that the client computer can route to, for example the external host name configured in a NAT server.
