To Add a Configuration Variable to a Configuration Settings Block

  1. Open an existing or create a new configuration settings block.


  2. On the Configuration tab, click the Add ( + ) icon and select Add Variable.

    The New Variable dialog opens.



  3. In the Name field, enter a name for the variable (for example, _USTN_PROJECTSROOT).

    The rest of this example shows how to configure the variable _USTN_PROJECTSROOT.

  4. Click Add.

    The Edit Value dialog opens.



  5. In the Edit Value dialog that opens:
    1. Set Operation type to '=' - Assignment.
    2. Set Value type to ProjectWise Folder.
    3. To the right of the Value field, click the Browse (…) button. Select a folder and click OK.
    4. Click OK to close the Edit Value dialog.
  6. Turn on Locked on the New Variable dialog.
  7. Click OK to finish creating the new variable.
