Changing the Temporary Folder Where Documents To Be Processed Get Downloaded
Any documents that get downloaded for processing get stored in a temporary extraction folder. The default location of this folder is C:\Users\<user_name>\AppData\Local\Temp\async-extraction, where <user_name> is the name of the user under which ProjectWise Orchestration Framework Service is running. You can change the location of the extraction folder at anytime by making the following change in the registry.
- On the ProjectWise Design Integration Server computer, open the Windows Registry Editor.
- Find the following registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Bentley\ProjectWise\Automated File Processing

Under that key, create a string called
ExtractionTempDir and set the value to the location
where you want the new temporary extraction folder to be.
For example, D:\ProjectWise-Extraction-Temp-Directory
This folder will be automatically created upon the next extraction.
- Close the Registry Editor.
