To Manually Start a Synchronization

  1. Right-click the User Synchronization Service node and select Synchronize Accounts.

    A dialog opens, asking, "Do you want to synchronize Windows accounts now?"

  2. Click Yes.

    All Windows user accounts in the Synchronized Accounts folder are synchronized with ProjectWise user accounts in the datasource. If the Windows accounts already existed in the datasource, they are updated accordingly. If the Windows accounts did not previously exist in the datasource, they are created (and synchronized) now. You can see these new accounts under the Users datasource node (or under the Groups datasource node, if Windows groups were synchronized) in ProjectWise Administrator.
