Creating and Assigning Value Lists

By creating value lists and assigning them to work area properties, you can control the values that users are able to select for those work area properties in ProjectWise Explorer. Whether you are creating or editing a work area property, there are two kinds of value lists you can create:

  1. A regular pick list, in which you, the administrator, manually enter each value you want to be included in the list


  2. A value list based on a SQL SELECT statement, in which you define the statement to automatically populate the value list using information in the database
