Bar Label Defaults
Used to set default preferences to annotations.
Accessed from:Note: When placement of
any new bar begins,
Bar Label Defaults are immediately loaded into
the bar as attributes to that bar. From that moment on, they are referred to as
Bar Label Attributes and can be modified at any stage during the detailing
process, thereby allowing you to override their current ‘default’ values.
Although all new bars always start with the same initial Bar Label Defaults,
they might eventually be saved with completely different Bar Label Attributes.
These attributes can only be changed while placing or modifying a bar. They are
selected from a sub-tool box within the bar placement tool box.
Setting | Description |
---|---|
Height | This value specifies the text height used for all
those labels attached to main bar reinforcement. The height is entered in
paper-size units. It is the physical height of text that appears on the final
plotted drawing. Prior to placement of text, the software calculates the text
real-world units height using a multiple of this default and the current scale
factor.
For example, if the Text Height is set to 3mm, and the current scale factor is set to 20, the software places all label text at a height of 60 master units. |
Color / Weight / Font / Text Style | The default
Color,
Weight, and
Font are all selected in the usual manner.
The style selected from the list applies the Text Style to the label text. |
Justification | This drop-down list sets the default alignment of text within bar labels —Left, Right, or Auto. It should normally be set to Auto. |
