To add rebar to slabs:

1. Select (Slab Reinforcing). The (Slab) RebarSet dialog opens.
   
2. Use the RebarSet dialog to set up rebar, end condition, option, and assignment information.
3. Place the reinforcement bars using one of the following placement options:

   Option	Description
   Select the Planeshape to Create RebarSet	On your model, click on the slab that you want to reinforce.
   Select the Planeshape and Smartline to Create RebarSet	On your model, click on the slab, then on a predrawn Smartline that defines the area you want to reinforce on the slab.
   Select the Planeshape and Points to Create RebarSet	On your model, click to select points (on your slab) that form the boundaries of the area you want to reinforce.

4. If required, right click to accept your selection. Rebar displays in your slab.
5. Click OK to apply your settings and close the dialog.
