Used to set the dimensions of the space between the two
selected shapes. Shapes are lengthen or shortened to meet these values.

If the selected shapes are
I-shapes, three plates are created as the
transition between the shapes. Two flange plates and one web plate.
If the selected shapes are boxed, four plates are created
in a boxed formation.

- Shorten
Upper – Sets the distance the upper shape is shortened to allow for
the transition geometry. A positive or a negative value determines the
distance. A value of 0 sets no allowance. The default is 0.
- Join
Gap – Sets the dimension of the distance between the two selected
shapes to allow for the transition geometry. A positive value determines the
distance. A value of 0 sets no gap. The default is 100 or 4 depending of the
units setting.
- Cut
Radius – Sets the dimension of the radius in the splice geometry as
clearance for welds. A positive value determines the radius. A value of 0 sets
no cut radius. The default is 30 or 1.25 depending of the units setting.
- Gap Above
/ Gap Below – Sets the gap above / below the splice.

Group – When checked, the selected shape, plate and other created
objects are arranged to form a group. If the selected shape is already part of
an existing group then the created objects are added to that group.

Bolts – Enabled for
Group. When checked, the bolts are added to
that group.

Bolts – When checked, bolts are created through the holes in the
connecting and flange plates. When unchecked, only holes are created.
- Bolt
Style – Sets the bolt style from the installed bolt database's.
Select the required bolt type from the list. The default is the first type in
the list.
