To add a parametric portal frame to your model, use the following steps.

1. Either:

   Select the Frames tool.

   or

   Key in ProSteel Place Frame

2. Select the left column insertion point. This point is the base of the left column.
3. Select the right column insertion point. The initial frame is placed in the model and the ProSteel portal frame dialog opens.
4. Complete all of the parametric information on the ProSteel portal frame dialog. Leave the Dynamic option set on the Dimensions tab to see a live preview of the stair in the model before accepting.
5. Click the OK button. The dialog closes and the frame is updated in the model using the specified parameters.
