To place a parametric stair case using the standard stair tool, use the following procedure.

1. Select (Standard Stair).
2. Click an insertion point for the stair and then a second point to indicate the direction of the stair. The Standard Stair dialog opens.
3. Do either of the following:

   specify parameters in the dialog to define the stair

   or

   load a template

4. Click . The stair is added to your model.
