To Manipulate Cross Bolting connection

A given Cross Bolting can be copied or moved by selecting the components forming the connection.
  1. Select the Cross Bolting connection components, and select right-click > Copy | Move menu. Prompts you to select start and target data points:
    • Enter first point, followed by
    • Enter point to define distance and direction.
    Accept the movement.
  2. Moving members of the Cross Bolting connection for Centerline / Center of Gravity insertion point:
    • When you move any number of connecting members but not all, the connection will be recreated, and the moved members will not be part of the connection if they do not share the same intersection point as the other member(s).
    • When all connecting members are moved, the connection will be recreated at the new intersection if possible.
    • When all the members are moved, the connection will be recreated.
    • When only the support is moved, the connection will be recreated, and invalid members will be dropped.
  3. Moving members of the Cross Bolting connection for user Selected Point insertion point:
    • When all connecting members are moved and none fall on the previously selected point, the connection will be deleted. However, if at least one of them still falls on the previously selected point, that member will be kept in the connection, but the rest are dropped.

    • When all the members are moved, the connection will be recreated with a new insertion point relative to the previous one with respect to the supporting member.
    • When only the support is moved, if at least one of the connecting members still falls on the previously selected point, that member will be kept in the connection, and the others will be dropped.
The Cross Bolting tool is parametric, hence upon changing any of the existing members parameters or direction, the bolting is updated automatically. If any manual changes were applied, they will be lost during the update, adhering to inherent user connection behavior.

Warning: When a user Selected Point is chosen, upon moving, rotating, stretching or mirroring one or all the members of the connection, it is possible that the user point will be lost or placed in an undesired location.
