When you zoom in on an area of your model that includes many elements, it can be difficult to distinguish between all of the various drawn objects. For a less congested view, you can display only the objects you want to see and hide others.

Various tools allow you to display or hide the following:

• Parts - Individual drawing objects.
• Display Classes - A user-defined group of similar objects, typically based on a common characteristic, such as structure type.
• Area Classes - A user-defined group of objects, typically based on the objects' position in the model.
