When printing in rasterized mode, all output is in true color unless optimized into 256 colors. More time is required for optimized color printing, but it produces more compact print files for typical drawings. This setting also affects how raster data in non-rasterized mode is handled. Color depth optimization is enabled by default for hybrid/vector printer drivers. It is not appropriate for raster output drivers.
