Bolt style
|
Lists the available bolt styles for selection.
- Single
Hole Bolting – When checked, the bolts are set into single holes.
- Create
Dynamic Connection – When checked, the bolt connection is done
dynamically where any changes to the bolt recalculates the bolt data.

Single Hole Bolt
|
When on, creates bolts for each hole of the selected
component parts without requiring a second part. Normally, at least two
component parts are required for a bolting. Sometimes you only want to insert
bolts without bolting them.

Create dynamic Connection
|
When on, the selected component parts are connected
with each other with logical links. The bolting is automatically updated if the
component parts are modified.

Bolt Settings
|
- Diameter – Sets
the diameter of the bolt. Select the virtual hole diameter when creating a
single bolt manually. This process preserves the compatibility with standard
bolting function.
- Workloose –
Sets the virtual free play required in manual insertion.
- Length
Addition – Sets the value by which the bolts are extended,
applicable to all kinds of insertion.

Tolerances
|
- Gap – Sets the
maximum distance between two holes which are assumed to belong to the bolting.
If this value is exceeded the holes cannot be bolted.
- Angle – Sets
the maximum angle difference for holes being drilled. in degrees. If this value
is exceeded, the holes won't align and cannot be bolted.

Bolt all selected parts automatic
|
Select the parts to be bolted, and the bolts are
inserted into existing holes in the selected component parts.
|
Bolt parts together in a selected
area only
|
Select the parts to be bolted and the area of
bolting, and the bolts are inserted into existing holes in the selected
component parts which are in the prescribed area.

Create a single bolt using 2
points
|
This option is for the manual insertion of a bolt.
Select the start and endpoints or the grip length, and the bolt is inserted.
|
Create a nut/washer from
insertion points
|
Allows you to attach a single nut and/or disk without
a corresponding bolt. Select the insertion point of the nut or washer and then
the direction of the bolt head (where it would normally be).
To attach a nut and/or washer directly on a round
steel bar, hold <Esc>, and select the round steel bar at the insertion
end.

Turn the selected bolts
|
Allows you to rotate of one or more bolts. Select the
corresponding bolts and they are rotated.
|
Calculate the weight of the bolts
from the used volume
|
Allows you to create a new weight calculation of the
selected bolts (based on volume).
