Weld Style Display tab
The depiction of weld symbols is determined by styles, which have to be selected at the corresponding positions. You may set these styles here.
The additional "edge" point supports in creation and also seen in property dialog. It is shown perpendicular to the line indicates the additional 'edge' point is inserted in the welding symbol line.
General Default Settings
Defaults Upper and Lower Side
Setting | Description |
---|---|
Thickness | The thickness of the weld seam. |
Prefix | A prefix placed in front of the thickness of the weld seam. |
Length | The length of the weld seam |
Gap | Here you can indicate a gap in the weld seam. |
Comment | Here you can indicate a comment to the weld symbols. |
Add. Length | Additional length details |
Symbol | In this list, you can select the type of the weld seam (fillet weld, HV weld, etc.). |
Toward Position | Indicates whether the weld seam has to be carried out in this way. Sets available opposite symbol. |
Symmetrical | The bottom side data corresponds to those of the top side (only available in ‘top side’). When checked, sets the lower side of the weld seam equal to the upper side, and disabled the ‘down side’ settings icon. |
Defaults Parts List
Setting | Description |
---|---|
Material | Sets the weld material which has to be used. |
In Partlist | When checked, registers the created weld seam to appear in the parts list. |
Weight/LU | The weight of the weld seam per row per length unit. |
Price/LU | The price of the weld seam per row per length unit. |
