- Side
Offset – Distance from the side of the opening to the parallel bar.
- Top
Cover – Distance from the top of the opening to the parallel bar.
- Bottom
Cover – Distance from the bottom of the opening to the parallel
bar.

Levels
|
This section is used to specify the number of
layers for the trimmers.
If the
Number Of levels is 1, you can specify the
Insertion Face as Top, Bottom, or Middle.
If the number of layers is > 1, the layers will be spaced evenly from top to
bottom between the top/bottom covers.

Parallel
|
Set the option to add parallel bars around the
opening edges. Parallel bars are placed parallel to the sides of the
Rectangular/Polygon Opening.
Select the
Bar Size and then type values for
Quantity,
Spacing,
Start Anchor, and
End Anchor.
The Start and End Anchors will be placed depending upon the
direction of the adjacent side of the opening. Alternatively, when
Extend To Border is checked, the bar
extends till borders, overriding the Anchors values.

Corner
|
Set the option to add bars at the corners of
rectangular or polygonal openings. Corner bars will not be placed at
interior corners.
Select the
Bar Size and then type values for
Quantity,
Spacing,
Start Anchor, and
End Anchor. Start and End Anchors will be
placed depending upon the direction of the adjacent side of the opening.

Perpendicular
|
Set the option to add bars perpendicular to and
wrapping the parallel bar levels.
Select the
Bar Size and then type values for
Spacing,
Start Anchor, and
End Anchor. Start and End Anchors will be
placed depending upon the direction of the adjacent side of the opening.
- Bar
Shape – Bar Shape designates the main body of the bar. Select as
U-Bar (e.g., ACI Type 17 or S10) or
Straight. If
U-Bar is selected, then type the
Start Anchor and
End Anchor lengths (end conditions can
also be specified).

Perimeter
|
For
Circular Openings: Set the option to add
bars as either corner bars (similar to those rectangular and polygonal
openings) or as circular bar around the opening.
Select the Bar Size and the Bar Shape.
- Bar
Shape – Selected as
Circular or
Straight. If
Straight is selected, then type the
Start Anchor and
End Anchor lengths (end conditions can
also be specified).

Placement
|
- – Used to swap directional bars
plane. Eg: if horizontal bars are outside of vertical bars, the swap button
will cause the vertical bars to be outside of the horizontal bars.
- – Clicking this button displays
the previous opening in the series.
- – Clicking this button displays
the previous segment of a particular opening.
- – Clicking this button displays
the next segment of a particular opening.
- – Clicking this button displays
the next opening in the series.
