Shape selection

Sets the selected shape to apply the shape settings
. The settings vary for currently selected shape element.
- Insert
shapes – When checked, inserts the selected shape.
For example, if you would like to generate a handrail with
only two knee-high guardrails, then deactivate one of the three options for
knee-high guardrails. In the selection lists you can select the required shape
as usual. All shapes are available for selection.

Shape Class
|
Sets the class or catalogue of the selected shape.
- Insert
shapes – When checked, inserts the selected shape.

Shape Size
|
Sets the size of the selected shape, one selected
from the predefined list.
|
Shape Type
|
Sets the shape type for the selected shape
(standard, user shapes, etc.)
|
Insertion plane
|
Sets the insertion plane of the shape to one of the
below options:
- Lower Edge Shape
- Upper Edge Shape
- Middle
Enabled for handrail and rails shape elements.

Angle
|
Sets the rotation angle for the shape around the
insertion axis. Selectable angle options are: 0°, 90°, 180°, and 270°.

Mirror
|
When checked, mirrors the selected shape along
Y-axis, before insertion.

Copy floor data
|
Copies default settings of existing definition of
component part into the current selection. When clicked, opens
Position Number Limits dialog, where you
can select the source file for currently selected Shape Class. Synchronizes the
settings for all knee-high guardrails, for example.
