Rat Hole/Stiffener

When checked, a Rat Hole/Stiffener is applied end of
the connecting member.
- Web
Gap – Sets the gap from the end point of connecting shape to the
web.
Note: This
distance is in addition to the gap between the connecting and supporting
members.
- Flange
Gap (Upper / Lower) – Sets the gap (additional distance) from the
end point of connecting shape to the flanges.
- Upper /
Lower Depth – Sets the depth of the bevel applied to the flanges.
- Upper /
Lower Angle – Sets the angle of the bevel applied to the flanges.
- Invert
(Upper / Lower) – When checked, the bevel is inserted on the
opposite side of the flange.
- Chamfer/
Fillet/ Cope (Inserted Arc) – When checked, sets the respective
type of cut for the access hole applied to the web.
- Upper/
Lower Chamher – For
Chamfer option, the value equally sets the
rise and run of the chamfered access hole applied to the web.
- Upper/
Lower Radius – For
Fillet and
Cope options, the value sets the radius of the
access hole applied to the web.
- Upper/
Lower Web Distance – For
Cope option, this value allows the access hole
to be shifted to the right or left relative to the Web Gap.

Weld Plate

Note: This option is
only available when the Moment plates are inline with the flanges or not used
at all.
- Upper /
Lower Plate – When checked, sets the upper/lower or both weld
plates be placed below the flanges.
- Length/
Width / Thickness – Sets the length, width and thickness
respectively of the weld plates. Enabled when one of the weld plate or both
options are set.

Back Stiffeners
|
- Top
Stiffener / Down Stiffener – When checked, creates a back stiffener
for the supporting shape at top or down or both.
- (Type of
cut) – Sets the type of cut for the corners of the Stiffener
Plates, selected one among three options: Chamfered / Fileted / Rounded.
- Stiffener
Thickness – Sets the thickness of the Back Stiffener Plate.
- Stiffener
Radius – Sets the type of cut for the corner of the Stiffener
Plate.
- End
Offset – Sets the offset from the outer edge of the supporting
shape.
- Flange
Offset – Sets the offset from the inside surface of the supporting
shape.
- Web
Offset – Sets the offset from the web of the supporting shape.
