List
Lists the field names of defined data fields. To
edit or to delete one of the fields, click on it to select.
Fieldname
Used to enter the field name of the new database
field. Field names always consist of capital letters (lower case letters are
automatically transformed) and pre-existing entries are ignored. It is useful
to enter reasonable field names as these are displayed in the selection dialogs
for sorting and search. For each field a description may be added as auxiliary
text for the other dialogs.
Dialog Text
Used to specify the labeling of the input field for
field data in the input dialog for cell data.
Description
Used to specify a descriptive auxiliary text for the
database field, which is displayed in the other dialogs at selection of this
field.
Display if Selected
When on, the data in the database field is displayed
in the Selection dialog after selecting a cell. This helps to limit the display
to essential fields in case there is a large number of data fields.
Text field
When on, data is evaluated as text. Sorting is
alphabetic so the entry
11 is sorted ahead of the entry
2 for instance.
Integer
When on, data are evaluated as integers. For
instance, the entry
B2 is sorted ahead of the entry
A11 because the numerical part has priority.
Floating
When on, data are evaluated as floating points. If
the Imperial unit system is used, the units inch and foot are displayed
correctly.
Floating fix
When on, data are evaluated as a floating point fix.
If the imperial unit system is used, the units are not displayed as inches and
feet (for instance, for angles).
