- Gap to
Support – Sets the gap between the end of connect shape and the
flange of support shape in the direction of the connect shape. Enter a positive
value to determine the gap. A negative value is to be read as its absolute
value. The default is 10 or 0.4 depending on the units setting.
- Upper
Offset – Sets the offset of the cleat plate to the inner edge of
the upper flange of the connect shape. Enter a positive value to determine the
offset. A negative value is to be read as its absolute value. The default is 20
or 0.8 depending on the units setting.
- Cut
Length – Sets the cut length on the flange of the connect shape to
allow assembly of the connection. Enter a positive value to determine the
length. A negative value is to be read as its absolute value. The default is
400 or 15 depending on the units setting.
- Cut
Radius – Sets the cut radius on the web to allow space for weld
plate. Enter a positive value to determine the radius . A negative value is to
be read as its absolute value. The default is 5 or 0.2 depending on the units
setting.
- Hole
Diameter – Sets the dimension of the holes. Enter a positive value
to determine the diameter. A negative value is to be read as its absolute
value. The default is 16 or 0.6 depending on the units setting.
- Workloose –
Sets the workloose of the holes. Enter a positive value to determine the
workloose . A negative value is to be read as its absolute value. The default
is 1 or 0.04 depending on the units setting.

- Left
/ Right – Sets the location of the cleat plate attached to either
left or right side of the web of the connection shape.
- Double –
Creates two plates attached to both sides of the web of the connection shape.
- Thickness –
Sets the thickness of the cleat plates. Enter a positive value to determine the
thickness . A negative value is to be read as its absolute value. The default
is 10 or 0.4 depending on the units setting.
- End
Offset – Sets the distance between the edge of the cleat and the
first hole center(refer to the picture above). Enter a positive value to
determine the End Offset. A negative value is to be read as its absolute value.
The default is 20 or 0.8 depending on the units setting.

Options

Group – When checked, the selected shape, plate and other created
objects are arranged to form a group. If the selected shape is already part of
an existing group then the created objects are added to that group.
- With
Bolts – Enabled for
Group. When checked, the bolts are added to
that group.
