Save Defaults File
Saving Bar Defaults to File
The Nominal Defaults Files enables your most commonly-used defaults to be installed automatically at the start of every new session. If the defaults within the file are established correctly, only minor changes to Bar Defaults should then be required prior to commencement of detailing.
A defaults file can be saved at any time for later recall.
The procedure for creating a defaults file is to select
(Save Defaults
File) from the Rebar Defaults tab. The "Save Bar Defaults" file
manager dialog opens. Type the filename to be created, then click
Save. All your current defaults are written to
the file —including Levels, Main Bar, Longitudinal Bar, and Annotation
defaults. The defaults file is a binary file and cannot be edited using your
normal text editor.
