Supports are frames made up of structural elements. Supports are interactively added after routing is completed. Pipe supports cause structural elements to be added to the AutoRouter model and hence be picked up by the steel material takeoff report. Pipe supports do not create obstacles; therefore, they do not have an effect on routing.
