Element Shapes

Equipment are built from elements. Elements have geometries.

These are:

box
cylinder
cylindrical transition
rectangle-to-rectangle transition
elliptical-head
torus

ring
symbol
text
symbol
mass

There is a set of placement and rotation variables associated with all elements. The default value for a placement and rotation variable is 0.0.

These variables are:

local-x-origin
local-y-origin
local-z-origin

Rotation variables (values are given in degrees):

local-x-origin
local-y-origin
local-z-origin

The following graphics show the specific dimensional variables for each element type. The elements are shown in their default rotation and their placement point is indicated with a small box.
