You can terminate any PlantWise process from the Windows Task Manager. To access the Task Manager, click the right mouse button on an empty space in the task bar and select Task Manager.

There are three PlantWise related processes listed in the Task Manager: d++-dep.exe (PlantWise Command Interpreter), dpp-uis.exe (Design++ UI Server), and PlantWise.exe (CAD). Using the End Task command on the CAD in this method should be harmless; however, ending Command Interpreter or the UI Server process will result in the loss of un-saved changes.

Select the process that to be ended and click on the End Process button. A warning prompt will appear alerting you to the dangers of ending a process in this manner. “End process” will kill the process and “Cancel” will not.
